Lesson #3 For A Beginner

by Andrew Lack (1452)

Pages: 1 2 3 4 5 6 Suggested Tempo: 70

OK, I think I have a couple weeks worth of stuff here for you (depending how much you practice). The example on this page is a 12 bar blues similar to the ones we worked on last time. Just like last time it is made up of all quarter notes (one beat each). What makes it different is that in the first two bars we play notes on each of the four strings. So we need to do a little more thinking than last time. As always take your time. Playing each note with a quality tone and with a steady meter is the priority.
