Hand Positons
Proper hand positions are the key to playing, succesfully. Especially if you are a beginner and not taking proper lessons, because bad habits are hard to unlearn. There is no exact place to put your hands, the best is to find somewhere comfortable, but here is a basic guideline-
Right hand, thumb in the middle of the neck, fingers curled slightly, ready to move around, left hand, thumb either anchored or not anchored just above the pickups
