This is a simple blues bass line. It should be played with a full sound, hence the legato, and in a swing/triplet timing. It can be repeated as many times as you like (as can all good blues riffs!), and can easily be concluded by replacing bar 12 with a 5-1. Throw in a couple of extra twiddles etc and you've got yourself an easy-to-play, yet quite attractive blues line.
