Well, you've had a set of strings for awhile and you think there worn out, there starting to sound crappy HuH? Well, I have just the thing. First off your strings aren't worn out. They are just loaded with filth. Im assuming that youre using roundwound strings or halfwound strings. If you take a closer look at your strings, see those little groves, a haven for dirt. While you play the dirt on your hands, and your dead skin cells will work there way into those little groves. This makes your strings sound crappy.
