Escaping The Repetitive Blues Scale

by Steve Vincent (255)

Pages: 1 2 3 Suggested Tempo: 120

This is an example of a very run of the mill bass line constructed from the time tested and trustworthy blues scale. The blues scale is used so often because it sounds good. The problem with playing the same notes all of the time is that it gets very boring for the listener and your creativity is limited to a handful of possible notes.
