Fun With Fifths & Thirds

by John Crosley (7149)

Pages: 1 Suggested Tempo: 160

Here is a way to put some excitement into an ordinary chord pattern.

Measures 1-4 are the root notes of the chords.

Measures 5-8 playing Thirds on measures 6 & 8. See how droning (holding down one note) doesn't have to be all roots.

Measures 9 & 11 is Root/Fifth, Measures 10 & 12 are Third/Root.

Measures 13-16 is a variation on Measures 9-12.

Have fun.
