In yet another attempt to regain points, I have created a simple line to help you with switching meter to meter mid song-also a replacement for "The Ocean" which used this technique.

Anyhow, the lesson the riff is a repeating pattern of three [4 4] measures, followed by one [3 4] measure. Remember to IGNORE the given measure marks and use your ear. The A's begin each [4 4] measure, and the [3 4] measure's are straight eighth notes.

The music seems to have a One-leg-shorter-than-the-other feel to it, but it is cool that way!

If you use your ear, all should be cool.
