I have to say that I'm very impressed with the rapid rate at which people have been posting lessons at ActiveBass. Even though the Line Builder is somewhat limited, it does let lesson authors create examples in a short period of time. However, some of you may be less than pleased with how your lesson text looks, especially for those more theoretical lessons.

So, for those lesson authors who'd like to make their lessons more readable, here's a few very simple things you can do to accomplish this. The way we show lessons at ActiveBass doesn't pay attention to line or paragraph breaks, such that your lesson text often runs together as one long paragraph. This can be somewhat frustrating, so I'm here to fill you in on how to remedy this, and how to put some other great stuff with a few simple keystrokes.

HTML stands for HyperText Markup Language and it's the standard used by web pages to format text, images, etc. Each successive page in this lesson will present a particular HTML tag, giving you an example of how each can be used in the context of a lesson. At the very least you can cut and paste the examples into the Page Builder and then modify it to suit your needs. I'll also include the bulk of this info in an HTML popup help window in the Page Builder, such that you'll have this info at your disposal while writing your lesson text.

All cut and paste examples will be shown in this computer-ish type font
