Fretless Practice1

by Doug Bland (195)

Pages: 1 Suggested Tempo: 160

Here is a pattern that involves string-crossing, dexterity, and a bass. The practical side of this lesson is hearing and naming the notes, sharpening intonation, and increasing facility on the bass. Playing the pattern backwards and forwards is totally encouraged. I learned this pattern from a friend when I first started playing. Since then, I have found out it can really stump a guitarist when executed. Let the stumping begin!
