Unusual, But Intresting?

by Jeff Hamilton (38)

Pages: 1 Suggested Tempo: 80

OK here goes. Play the song through verse five just like it sounds. I use my thumb to play on the "D" string and my index finger to play on the "G" string up to this point. You want to play verse 6-9 as a "power chord" and also speed up the tempo a bit. What you want to play is the D/9 with G/11, D/7 with G/9, and D/5 with D/7 (according to the bass tab). In other words you're playing both notes at the same time. I use the nail of the index finger to strum the chord (acting as a pick)and "slide" both fingers up the fretboard and back down so it doesn't sound choppy while switching notes. Let me know what you think and have fun with it.
