Triple Approach

The basic idea behind Triple Approach is that you are trying to "funnel down" to a "target note" chromatically or by half-steps. In other words, you would play a note on the first beat of measure 1 and then start the Triple Approach process on the 2nd beat of measure 1. The "target note" is on the first beat of measure 2. Beat 2 chromatically approaches: Beat 3, Beat 4 or Beat 1(of the next measure). Beat 3 chromatically approaches: Beat 4 or Beat 1(of the next measure). And Beat 4 always approaches Beat 1(of the next measure).
