Getting To Know Octaves

by Dean Neitman (413)

Pages: 1 Suggested Tempo: 80

This simple bass line illustrates the octaves for E, C, & G and lets you have fun with it too. Once you learn how easy octaves are to find on the neck, it will help you learn the notes of the neck as well as getting that pinky some action or third finger depending on how you play. I like to sit and just pluck this one slow and then increase speed until it either sounds horrible or I can't play. Nice way to warm up.
