Mj7 And Min7 Inversions Combined

by Matthew Brown (9249)

Pages: 1 2 3 Suggested Tempo: 120

Once you've mastered the inversions of G major 7th and A minor 7th chords, combining them is the next logical step. To master these arpeggios separately, take a look at my earlier lesson for each. If you look at and listen to the bass line, you'll notice it includes not only both arpeggios, but each of the inversions of them as well. Listen carefully, and note that they advance up the neck gradually. Your hand moves from IInd position, then to the IVth, Vth, and IXth positions. Once you have a clear idea of the notes, look at the next page for the fingerings and positions you'll need to know.
