This is the revised version to my original bass line. I was kind of stumped on the first one, but I just let my fingers flow and this is what came out. I added a few 16th notes in there which will be good practice for getting used to the speed and feel of switching note values.

Some more advice for beginners would be never doubt yourself or your ability. The better you become, the more you will be able to do with a song. Don't give up. Now, it's time to get funky.
