Slaping

by Brandon Knudsen (1954)

Pages: 1 2 3 4 Suggested Tempo: 120

Slaping is one of the easist and coolist sounding ways to play bass. There are many ways to do it, but i will go over the begining three; Thumb Slap, Finger Slap, and Slap n' Pop. I will also go over where to slap on your bass so not hurt anything important.

Where Do I Slap? Well this is an easy question. You always want to slap on the little gap between the pickup closest to the fretboard, and where the fretboard meets the body. NEVER slap over your pickups. I've gone through quite a few pickups doing this.

These are your basic techiniques.
