To me this is the blues; it’s why I started to play the bass. I heard a guy playing this; he was just setting up before a gig. I asked him to show me the notes he was playing, but he said he didn’t have time. Later he played it as part off his solo, only this time WOW. Then he gave me the tabs. That was it; I had to get my own bass. I don’t know his name or the name of the group but guy, if you’re out there… Thanks. This line is not hard to play once you get into it, but I’ve put it into 4 parts to show the build up. Part 5 is the whole thing and how you should be sounding. This is a 2 bar riff, meaning it repeat every two bars. Or put simply; play all the notes and repeat them.
