This first warm-up, cycles through the possible combinations of two-finger skips (intervals). One advantage is that each finger is exercised exactly the same amount. This contributes to smoother fingering. To get the most benefit from this exercise, use the same fingers as the fret numbers. "4" must be played by fourth finger.
