The next three scales are called the modal scales. This is because although they are scales in their own right, they are directly derived from the major scale. Thus the G dorian modal scale can be also be referred to as the 2nd mode of B major. Again I give examples here for G,A,B,C,D,E but you should play everything up to the 15th fret in E and A string.
