Modified Blues Scale

The blues scale is very, very common when playing blues. The way it's set up is with a root note (which can be any note). The progression is as follows:

This will work on the bass with any note. Put your first finger down on any fret, then your fourth finger. Next string up, you'll play with your first, second, and third finger. Another string up, press down with your first and third finger. This will work anywhere on the bass
