The legacy of famed guitar deity Jimi Hendrix is not to be taken lightly. And when it comes to getting involved in a Hendrix guitar-related project, one better know what one is doing. Jimi started recording with Pure Nickel strings. That’s one of the sounds you hear. Yeah, there are lots of amps involved, but the very beginning sound came from the strings. The Pure Nickel outer wrap has a special Vintage tone that no other string has. We’ve reproduced that original Hendrix Pure Nickel String.
