This pickup gives you the traditional sound of a vintage pickup for P-Bass. In 1957, Leo Fender changed the Precision Bass guitar pickup to a two coil system wired together to eliminate interference hum. He also used two pole pieces for each string to capture the greater string excursion of the bass guitar.
