FretBuzz: Introduction to FretBuzz
What is FretBuzz?
• On-Line Discussion Forums - ActiveBass has created a series of discussion forums on a variety of topics that you can use to voice your opinions, ask questions, share tips, and stay current. You can search for particular items of interest, look at the most current postings, view complete threads of a discussion, and e-mail messages of particular interest to your friends.
How Do I Get Started?
• Become a Member - Start posting and responding by registering for free. Anyone can read and e-mail messages in any of the FretBuzz discussion forums. However, if you'd like to post a new message or respond to an existing one, you must first register. There are also other numerous benefits to membership.
Features of FretBuzz
• Threaded Discussions - All messages posted to a particular forum are fully threaded, allowing you to see how a specific discussion has evolved over time. You can view all the messages in an entire thread, and easily jump to any point in the conversation.
• Searchable Forums - You can search any or all of the forums for certain keywords, providing a quick way to help you find a particular topic of interest.
• Member View - If you enjoy the messages posted by a particular member, you can easily check out anything else they've written by looking up their home page. You can view anyone's home page by simply clicking on their name, which is included with every post.
• E-Mail a Message - If you find a message that might be of particular interest to someone you know, you can e-mail the message to them. Your friend will get a copy of the message, along with a link to its location at ActiveBass, in case they want to view it in context.
