A fairly easy 12 bar blues in A which is swung a fair bit. It is unusual in the repeating open string, which some players believe should not be used. Try it and see what you think.

Just a walking bass line thru an F Blues with some of my favorite Blues substitutions. This will work in any key as well. You won't be able to use the open strings in other keys so you will have to puzzle it out.

A nice blues riff, you can further develop if you want. I used to play this when warming up for practice, it is easy to jam, you know add a few notes in etc...

The space between the notes is every bit as important musically as the notes themselves. It isn't necessary to play 32 notes / measure, especially in blues. This lesson is about leaving space. It uses Teeney Weeney Bit as the example.
