Funk Bass Lesson by Daniel Gilbert suitable for Beginner bassists.
Excerpt:  This is a stupid little line that shows that a good slap line ALWAYS has a groove. If a slap line has no groove, it sucks. The little 4 bar ditty here uses the D minor pentatonic scale. A memorable groove is one that gets you tapping your feet and/or nodding your head to that funky beat. Change the sound to "slap 1" and let me know what you think to this lesson!
