Basics Bass Lesson by Patrick Marzett suitable for Beginner bassists.
Excerpt:  I myself am a beginner. I found a way to help make my fingers faster, much stronger and help put an end to bending your annoying pinky finger.(Thank goodness!) It also can be used for target practice for long stretches. I like to start off slow and at the top of the fret board and as I go down the fret board I increase my tempo.
